Concept & Inspiration
A celebration of form in motion, the Emerald Strata draws its strength from the verticality and rhythm of architectural design. Inspired by the interplay between ancient Corinthian columns and contemporary tailoring, this piece reveals the elegant beauty of flexible structures.

Craftsmanship
At the heart of the piece lies a string of striking sugarloaf emeralds totaling 26.05 carats, from which the rest of the composition unfurls in rhythmic succession. As Lucia Silvestri, Bvlgari's Jewelry Creative Executive Director, explains, “Sugarloaf emeralds like these are incredibly difficult to source. It took us nearly a year to complete this layout.”  Custom-set emeralds and pavé-set diamonds are precisely layered in sculptural symmetry, supported by overlapping gold elements. Though stately in silhouette, the setting’s construction is surprisingly supple and designed for movement and comfort. Engineered by artisans and brought to life through the shared language of design, gem-setting and goldsmithing – a process that demanded over 1000 working hours of meticulous craftsmanship – Strata is a true expression of Bvlgari’s collective savoir-faire.
